No Hacks is run by No Hacks Marketing OÜ, my company, registered in Estonia. I'm Slobodan “Sani” Manic. This page lists everything nohacks.co collects, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted. For anything on this page, email [email protected].

When you visit any page

• Cloudflare hosts the website. Like any host, it handles your IP address to deliver the pages and to keep attacks out. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Simple Analytics counts visits and a few button clicks, such as a newsletter signup. It sets no cookies and, according to Simple Analytics, collects no personal data. What Simple Analytics collects.
• Telltale Bot checks whether a visit comes from a person, an AI agent acting for a person, or a bot. Its script reads details about your browser and how the page is used, never what you type, and its server looks up your IP address. It sets no cookies. It keeps a random ID for the browser tab, which is deleted when you close the tab. Telltale Bot is run by Quantable LLC. I use it to see how much of this website's traffic is people, AI agents and bots, which is what No Hacks writes about. Telltale Bot's privacy page.

nohacks.co sets no cookies of its own, and runs no ads or ad tracking.

Videos and audio

• YouTube: videos on episode pages and in articles show a still image from YouTube's image server, which sees your IP address. Nothing else loads from YouTube until you press play. Once you do, the YouTube player loads, and YouTube (Google) can set cookies and collect data. Google's privacy policy.
• Buzzsprout: the podcast player streams the audio from Buzzsprout when you press play, so Buzzsprout sees your IP address. Buzzsprout's privacy policy.

When you give me your email

• The newsletter: your email goes to beehiiv, which sends the newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link. beehiiv's privacy policy.
• The agentic commerce check: you enter a product page and your email. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a person, which sends your IP address to Cloudflare. Your results are emailed to you through Resend, with a copy to me. Nothing else is saved, your results are never shared or used in an article, and you are not signed up to anything. If the store is not on Shopify, I get a short note with your email and the product page, so I can reply. Resend's privacy policy.
• The contact form and the free finding request: Formspree delivers what you type (your name, email and message, or your website and question) to my inbox. Formspree's privacy policy.

I don't delete these emails on a schedule. They stay in my inbox, and I'll delete yours whenever you ask.

What I never do

I never sell your data, and I never use it for anything other than what is described on this page.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of your data, or to correct or delete it, at [email protected]. You can also complain to a data protection authority.
