ABOUT NO HACKS
The story
A podcast that became
a publication.
No Hacks launched in 2021 as No Hacks Marketing, a weekly podcast about making websites better. The brief was broad: SEO, CRO, performance, UX, whatever was actually moving the needle for the practitioners doing the work.
Five years and 223+ episodes later, the brief narrowed. AI agents are now shopping, researching, submitting forms, and running checkouts on behalf of real users. That shift is where most of the show's attention goes now, and it's a big enough shift to warrant more than a podcast format.
Today, No Hacks is a publication about the agentic web. The weekly podcast still sits at the centre. Articles cover the technical and strategic detail an interview format can't always reach, and a weekly newsletter pulls the week's work into one place.
The audience is the same as it was in 2021: SEO, CRO, and web professionals who need their work to stay relevant as the web changes. Websites now need to serve agents and humans at the same time, and No Hacks covers what's breaking, what's working, and what to do about it.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Slobodan "Sani" Manic is a website optimisation consultant and former CTO of Search Engine Journal.
He's spent close to two decades working at the intersection of web technology, user experience, and digital strategy. Now he's focused on what he believes is the most important shift happening on the web: the rise of non-human users.
Through his consultancy, Sani helps companies audit and optimise their sites for AI agents. No Hacks is where he publishes his work: articles on what's changing, weekly conversations with the people shaping this emerging field, and a newsletter that pulls it together.
