01 · What it is

ONE QUESTION,
IN FOUR PARTS.

The audit answers one question in four parts. When a machine arrives at your website: can it tell what your business is, can it read the pages, does what it reads survive extraction, and can it finish a task?

You get a written diagnosis and a prioritised plan, and you decide who executes it.

It is also the audit that opens every No Hacks Advisory engagement, where it decides what the following six months are spent on. It is useful whether or not those six months happen.

02 · Framework

FOUR PILLARS.

Machine-First Architecture is the framework the audit runs on. It is documented publicly at machinefirstarchitecture.com and explained on the podcast. The audit is the version applied to your website by the person who wrote it.

Pillar 01

Identity

Whether a machine can work out what your business is and trust the answer. Organization and Person schema coverage, entity graph, sameAs completeness, how your brand is represented across AI search surfaces.

Pillar 02

Structure

Your website as a data model. Semantic HTML, URL architecture, schema density, sitemaps and feeds, robots and Content Signals policy, markdown negotiation readiness.

Pillar 03

Content

Whether your pages survive extraction. Front-loaded verifiable claims, chunking for retrieval, heading hierarchy, first-sentence patterns, and whether anything persuasive exists only in the theme.

Pillar 04

Interaction

Whether a machine can finish a task. Form and checkout legibility, bot access policy, exposed tool surfaces, agent-readiness of the paths that make you money.

03 · Deliverables

WHAT YOU
GET.

Delivered within 3 weeks of the kickoff call. Capped at 2 audits per month.

  1. Written audit across the four pillars

Every finding names the page or template it applies to, what a machine currently receives, what it should receive, and why the gap costs you something. A scanner gives you a score. This tells you what to do about it.

  2. Prioritised fix list your developers can execute

Ordered by impact against effort, written so your own team or your dev shop can act on it without me in the room. Each item names what has to change and where it lives.

  3. One debrief call

Sixty minutes to walk the findings, argue with them, and decide what you are actually going to do. Recorded if you want it circulated internally.

Which engagement?

TWO WAYS
IN.

Start with the audit and $2,500 of the fee comes off your first No Hacks Advisory invoice, as long as you apply for a seat within 60 days of your audit being delivered.

04 · Scope

WHERE THE LINES ARE.

No implementation

The audit diagnoses and prioritises. Your team or your agency builds. This is the boundary that keeps the price fixed.

One company per niche

Shared with the advisory. If a close competitor is already a client, an application in that space gets declined.

Not a traffic guarantee

Nobody can promise AI citations or referral volume. The audit tells you what machines can read and do, which is the part you control.

Not AI content generation

You get no generated pages and no bulk content. The work is architecture: what a machine receives and whether it can act on it.

What the price covers

A single website on a single domain. Multi-brand and multi-domain estates are quoted after the application. The audit examines templates rather than pages, so catalogue size is not what moves the price.

05 · Non-negotiable

EDITORIAL
FIREWALL.

Audit clients are never named on the podcast or the publication. Audit clients never influence editorial direction. There are no ghost-written posts, no favourable coverage and no corrections made behind the scenes.

No Hacks runs no sponsorships. The publication is funded by audit and advisory work, which is exactly why the firewall has to be absolute. If paying me put a thumb on what I write, both sides of the business would be worth less.

If you buy an audit and a month later an article covers a topic adjacent to your work, that is coincidence or an editorial call on its own merits.

06 · FAQ

QUESTIONS
ANSWERED.

What do I actually receive?
A written audit document across the four Machine-First Architecture pillars, a prioritised fix list, and one sixty-minute debrief call. The document is yours. You can hand it to an internal team or an external agency and never speak to me again.
Do you implement the fixes?
No. The audit is a diagnosis and a plan. Implementation is your team or your dev shop. That boundary is what keeps the audit a fixed scope with a published price rather than an open-ended project.
Is this the same audit advisory clients get?
Yes. It is the same audit every No Hacks Advisory engagement starts with, sold as a standalone engagement. Advisory clients then get six months of work on top of it.
What if I want to continue afterwards?
The No Hacks Advisory is the six-month retained track, capped at 5 concurrent clients. If you apply for one of those seats within 60 days of your audit being delivered, $2,500 of the audit fee comes off your first invoice. Seats are limited and I take one company per competitive niche, so the credit is not a reservation.
Will you audit two companies in the same space?
No. One company per competitive niche, shared with the advisory. If a close competitor is already an advisory client, an audit application in that space gets declined.
Who handles the invoicing?
Contracts and billing run through Web Performance Tools. The audit itself is my work. The entity exists to handle the paperwork.
Will my company be named on the podcast?
Never. Audit clients are never named on No Hacks and never influence editorial direction. Same firewall as the advisory.
